From the article:
Yemeni-Saudi employment relations go back decades, with thousands of skilled and non-skilled workers being encouraged to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work.
The ongoing war in Yemen has forced many workers to flee Yemen and go to other parts of the world to seek work.
Many are now living and working in Saudi Arabia. There are about two million Yemeni expatriates working in Saudi Arabia. Thousands of these expatriates have higher education qualifications and have been working as professors or instructors or medical professionals at different institutions in Saudi Arabia.
However, the Saudi government seems to have moved recently to dismiss skilled Yemeni workers and force them to leave the country.
