From the article:
Scientists have developed a new batch of biological robots that possess memories as well as the ability to assemble themselves. These are an upgrade to the xenobots we saw last year. Developed by scientists at Tufts University and the University of Vermont, (study published in Science Robotics) the tiny xenobots were initially created from frog cells and were able to do small tasks like moving themselves and things around them as well as showcasing collective behaviour as a swarm.
