The Acting Provost of the College of Education, Prof. Martin Oteng-Ababio, has called on the University to weave different undergraduate and postgraduate courses run by various departments into the Distance Education Programme to suit the diverse needs of people who desire to engage in higher education. Prof. Oteng-Ababio was speaking at a two-day workshop organised by the School of Continuing and Distance Education (SCDE), under the College of Education, to develop initiatives towards the revamping of the Distance Education Programme. The workshop was an avenue for College Management, Co-ordinators and faculty from participating departments to dialogue and resolve gaps in the delivery of the Distance Education programme.

The Chinese Embassy in Ghana has donated a large quantity of PPE's and food items worth Four Hundred and Eighty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵480,000) to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC). The items included 15 ventilators with 60 nasal masks, 20,000 medical masks, 1,600 N95 masks, 120 protective suits, 100 medical goggles as well as nutritional items.
