"Destinate will host The Future of Wine Tourism webinar from 19 – 21 May 2020. The webinar is designed as an interactive virtual event bringing together international and local experts, industry representatives, the UNWTO, South African Tourism, Wesgro and Vinpro to explore and reimagine wine tourism in a post lockdown world where our freedom of movement and human interaction will fundamentally change.
The global wine and tourism industries have been hard hit by the pandemic, subsequent lockdown and the prohibition of alcohol sales in South Africa during lockdown. Great uncertainty, job losses and possible business closures are the order of the day as we try to navigate our way through this time."
