Claflin University, the historically Black educational institution in Orangeburg, South Carolina, has received approval for a master’s degree program in nursing. The university launched its bachelor’s degree program in nursing in 2016. Claflin will be the only historically Black college or university in the state of South Carolina to offer a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing.
