This serves as confirmation that a student case of COVID-19 at the University of Venda has been reported on Friday 03 July 2020. The student is now in self-isolation. This case has been confirmed by the District Department of Health through the prescribed protocol.
The process of tracing people who were in close contact with the student is underway.
